2020 CHEVY EQUINOX ACTIVE SAFETY SUITE OF TECHNOLOGY | WEST HARRISON, IN

AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
When the 2020 Equinox is traveling under 50 mph, the Automatic Emergency Braking system can sense possible front-end collisions and will warn the driver in the event of a potential accident. The system can also step in and apply the emergency brakes automatically in case the driver does not react in time.
FORWARD COLLISION ALERT
FOLLOWING DISTANCE INDICATORÂ
LANE KEEP ASSIST WITH LANE DEPARTURE WARNINGÂ
With a car full of passengers, it's too easy to get distracted and drift from your lane. That's where the Lane Keep Assist feature steps in, warning the driver if it detects the Equinox leaving its lane without the indication of a turn signal.Â
FORWARD AUTOMATIC BRAKINGÂ
Whenever the Equinox is traveling below 50 mph, the Forward Automatic Braking system will alert you if it detects a possible collision with a pedestrian or a vehicle. If you don't react in time, the system applies the brakes autonomously in order to prevent or lessen the collision.
INTELLIBEAM® HEADLAMPS
IntelliBeam® headlamps let you keep your attention on the road ahead during night drives by automatically turning on and off the high-beams in reaction to oncoming traffic.Â
